Because the party never ends... apparently.
Okay I admit, I saw the first movie and loved it. Then again, who didn't? I'm sure everyone still sings the tiger song from time to time or mentions that "we're the three best friends that anyone could have..." That being said, I had high expectations for the sequel. I think that might have been my problem.
I thought the 2nd movie was alright. The plot was almost a complete copy of the first story, just a different character getting married and a new location. I was hoping for some more fun and even the return of our favorite stripper (Heather Graham).
One thing I found particularly disturbing was a scene where a little monkey pretended to give oral sex. It just kind of gave me the creeps instead of making me laugh. Maybe I'm crazy for not being into bestiality.
I really can't say much more about the movie. I laughed several times, but at jokes that I had basically heard before (in the prequel). I was weirded out a few times. Ultimately it wasn't worth the $10.00+ they charge at theaters these days. I do have to say that the movie is targeted towards men, and since I am a woman that may contribute to my low levels of appreciation. I know that my boyfriend found it pretty funny.
See this movie if: the first movie was your ultimate favorite movie ever, you love Bradley Cooper, you are a male, you like male-orientated humor.
Do NOT see this movie if: you found the first movie so-so, you're tired of seeing Bradley Cooper shirtless, you aren't into bestiality, you don't want to watch a copy of the prequel.
